Galfar, which is now 23-years-old, is the only class six certified construction company which is 100 per cent Bruneian since the company took over from its Omani partners three years ago.
Galfar decided to take over and be independent because government wanted to groom Bruneian companies.
"Unfortunately, when we took over and had no foreign partner, banks were less willing to finance because with foreign investment, there is more security.
