January 2024 Post 1 - 2023 Memories

I'm still in the mood for blogging. I supposed last night's rush of trying to fit 2023 stories into one day gave me the chills. Hahahaha over! Nda plang chills tapi is more of a reminder and an appreciation of what blogging gives me. So what does blogging give me? The chance to relive all the memories and remove myself from thinking about work is bliss.

So today I'm gonna share about how I came about buying my new car. To tell the truth lepas ku interview atu udah kami laki bini been doing lots of research of what to car to buy. Should we buy diesel lah hijau lah apa lah. 4 Wheel drive lah, saloon car lah, SUV laahh. I even thinking of buying a van hahaha cua kamu pikirkan. Bertangkar ani jan cerita lah. Baru pasal what type of car. Alum lagi what brand lah what color lah to the point where I said to myself. Usin ku sendiri jua ni hahahaha.

Finally after all the argument and deliberation and whatever words that I wanna use but didn't know the correct meaning. We opted for a Mazda CX-5. And even that pun mcm alum final as my Wife really likes the CX-9 and the CX-60. Mahal lai bukannya cannot afford it but I rather have a lil bit more to spend monthly kan kan.

Took us a few days to make a decision plus at the same time jua menunggu surat pengesahan gaji being released by our HR Department. Alhamdulillah by Friday 30th of June, HR released the letter and by the 1st of July, I have officially applied to purchase the car. A week later, I received a notification from the bank that my loan was approved. 

I decided to pick up my car at the end of the month. Why? Pasalnya aku mau 2 bulan free nda berpotong. TBH the waiting time was torture mcm malar ku round Beribi menyubuk my car. Owh yeah, we decided to have identical plate numbers hence we have to spend a bit more money to secure the registration number.

My first few passengers. Atupun majal kan mau menguyak plastik kereta apa hahahaha.

Jangan buang masa. Terus ku drive ke SPARK because i have a meeting in the afternoon hahaha. While on the way kejumpaan my colleague yth taus ya mengambar.

Balik umah terus picked up my wife and we go for a drive around town. Duduk belakang eh terus. M e n y a m p a h.

January 2024 Post 2 - 2023 memories

The Kakas retirement party.

On the 22nd of June 2023, DARelings held a surprise retirement lunch for Ka Jah Awa. She'll be retiring in August however since she still has unused leaves, her retirement leave will be starting soon. Sedih jua lah since I have basically known her for more than 17 years, and will be missing her ibu character. 

We left for work from KB on the 26th of June because.......

Because we had a makan makan event today in the office and aku pun kinda suruh my mom memasakkan some food kira sedekah lah.

I do believe today is Ka Awa's last day hence why we have a makan makan to celebrate her.

Then on Thursday, 6th of July, we held another retirement party for Ka Noy. Sedih jua eh hahahaha. She is my lunch at the pantry gang. We shared quite a few things about work and family and things that only gang pantry saja tah. Friday would be her last day at work hence why it was a mad rush trying to set up this lunch event. So well done to the guys who were able to set this out in a short time.

I was very cryptic with my Instagram Stories post jua hehehe. Not many know that this week will be my last time being a full-time resident at D&T.

As shown in the photos above, I came back to the office on Saturday to clear out a few items. Didn't want to make a fuzz really since I'm not retiring, just moving to SPARK for most days of the week, and more importantly, I just don't want to steal Ka Noy's thunder. So when I shared this photo on my Instagram stories banyak yang terkezut haa haa haa. See you around guys or so it seems......

January 2024 Post 3 - 2023 Memories

The August KK Trip.

Alhamdulillah, with a lil bit of saving from my PB and help with gaji baru both my wife and I went for a KK trip. And thank god this time around nda yang damam. Which is one the reason jua kenapa both of us kuat hati kan turun sekali ani. The last time c Wadi damam so he was cranky!

As usual, lupa tia kan print immigration form lah atu lah ini lah last last kul 10 bah kan masuk Temburong but also this time around kami ada buat delivery untuk kawan ku yang keraja di KK haha.

Nada plan kan makai ferry however, we were making a quick toilet pit stop at Masjid Lawas. While waiting for my wife I was browsing the route and I thought why not let's try using the ferry. Not bad though, it was a short crossing, need to wait for more than half an hour still felt I got to Sindumin/Merapok ICQ faster than taking the land route.

I remember when I got out of my car, I saw a few cars in front of us that took a U-Turn at the ferry crossing just arriving at Sipitang Town. So my first thought confirm laju lagi makai ferry. If only they made a proper bridge ehhh. 

Arrived in Sipitang at noon. Had a light lunch with Siga Siga's satay and kuey teow. Surprisingly berasa jua lah durg punya masakan. Not Brunei level I'm sorry bukan ckp sombong. Bukan berpadah makanan Brunei standard and such. No. Im talking about rasanya. Boleh tahan. We do enjoyed it. Of course nda kami makan banyak takut poo poo. So before we left, went to the loo. Wife did some tourist thingy and off we go to KK.

Alhamdulillah, we arrived in KK just before 5 PM. Sampai saja went in to check us in and asked if I could park the car in front of the main entrance. They said it gonna cost me RM25 per day, which will be deducted from my RM300 during checkout.

Too bad I didn't manage to make a proper video of the room. I'm pretty sure I took a few photos however, my Pocophone just died on me with all its contents.

Straight to our first destination. Tempat yang biniku nda sabar kan aga is at KK Seafood Garden, at Jalan Tugu.

Ani baru namanya kelaparan laki bini hahaha. FYI all those kerangs are my wife's punya order. Myself the nasi goreng, Ikan and udang. Owh I also fell in love with sos Kam Heong. My goodness, my mouth is salivating right now.

Happy faces pasal dapat makan hahahaha batah bah kami craving kan makan sini.

Since it is still relatively early, we make a quick pit stop at Imago. And of course, my wife being peminat si JK. Mesti jua mengambar and bergambar dengan posternya. Tiberrrrr...

The August KK Trip Part 2.

And let's pick up from our previous post. And to be honest, the next post is more about food and food.

The reason we chose to stay in Hilton was because my colleague Syamimi stayed here before. And she recommended the breakfast spread. And boy she wasn't kidding. Let the video do the explanation. 

Plus I'm a santai guy when abroad. I didn't like to rush and kluar hotel awal pagi then balik akhir malam. No bro and sis, I prefer to wake up quite early in the morning and then have breakfast in the hotel. Then went back to the room, and slept for an hour or so. Poop, showered then we go out like there is no tomorrow hahaha.

Just sharing a few photos of the hotel lobby and my wife's awkward staircase post hahahaha. Sabar sha syg uiiii.

Basically, our itinerary for today was to visit Jirul and hantar barangnya. Then went to Imago and ate ice cream and bought showers and lotion stuff. Then ate at Nandos, pretty standard stuff. apa? Siuk kan cerita hidupku.
