5 Days Without Blogging Haha Atu Bangas My Blog.. Anyway I'm Back Now.. Been Busy And Tired These Past Few Days And Also Feeling A Bit Sickish With Flu Since Thursday Night.. I Guess All Those Time Walking Under The Rain Has Caught Up To Me.. So In This Post I Love To Touch A Few Matters.. Namely All Those Chained Messages Which You Received From Your Whatsapp Application.
A Few Days Back I Was Having A Conversation With My Dad After We Received A Message Which Is Religious In Matter.. Well To Be Honest These Days We Received All Sorts Of Messages.. And He Told Me Especially With Religious Messages It Is The Same Messages They Received Back Then.. The Only Major Difference Is The Method Of Which The Messages Being Received.
So It Got Me Thinking.. Probably 90% Or More Of The Messages That We Received Through Whatsapp Is Fake.. And What I Find More Disappointing Is That We Bruneian Seems To Believe Those Messages In An Instance.. And This Is Troubling News.. "Eh Banar Ni Kawan Ku Bah Berpadah Kawannya Yang Keraja Sana Membagi" But Little Do They Know That Friend Also Received From Another Friend.. So Yes The Relevant Authorities Are Aware Of This And Kudos To Them As They Also Quick To Act By Informing The Public Through Newspapers.. But Is It Enough?? Honestly I Don't Believe It Is.. This Is The Downside To Technology.. But I Believe Since We Are In 2014 The Government Should Act Accordingly.. By Now They Should Set Up A Committee That Monitor All This Kind Of Messages And I'm Not Sure If There Is Any At The Moment.. Like A Focal Point Whom The Public Can Refer To Or Respond To It Once It Become Known..
Just An Example Let Say A Few Weeks Ago We Received Messages About Tsunami Warning.. They Said The Warnings Has Been Issued On TV3.. But Alhamdulillah The Date Has Passed Nothing Bad Happen.. So What They Do Actually Is Monitoring Those Messaged And Then Relayed To The Relevant Authorities Whether Is It True Or Not.. And When Confirmation Has Been Received.. Then Inform The Public Via A Facebook Page, A Twitter Account Or Instagram.. Yes The Relevant Authorities Do From Time To Time Has Warned The Public Not To Forward Those Kind Of Messages But Sadly Its Still Is Going On..
Honestly The Government Need To Be Pro-active, Forward Thinking.. Jangantah Mengamalkan "Eh Bukan Bidang Kitani Tu Biar Durg Saja Nguruskan And Menjawab" Mentality.. Because It Does Show How Easy It Is To Challenge Our Country Sovereignty, Our Akidah And Faith.. Nauzubillah..
