Came Across A Cuz Facebook Status Where He Posting His Girlfriend's Wall With Belait Dialect And Straight Away It Hits Me Hard That I Only Know A Few Of The Words And Somehow And Me Googling Up For A Belait Dialect Dictionary Makes It Even Sad And Pathetic.. My Late Grandpa (May Allah Bless Him) Is A Human Dictionary/Encyclopedia Of Multi Dialect.. As His A True Descendant Of The Puak Belait And What I Regretted The Most Is That I Really Blow The Chance To Learn The Belait Dialect/Language And The Puak Belait History. And With Little To Almost No Information About The Puak Belait It Seems That Its A Race To Preserve The History And The Language.. You Gotta Applaud Puak Tutung For Maintaining Their Language, Culture And History And Even Their Younger Generations Knows How To Speak Their Language.. It Is Especially Hard When At This Very Moment That We Paraded Our Ability To Speak In English And Somehow Most Kids These Days They Can't Even Speak Malay As Fluently As They Were In English..
