If You're An Avid Reader Of My Blog.. You Probably Should Read About The New Hump Around Pandan Area.. Well This Is The New Divider On The Same Stretch Of Road.. First The Install Those Plastic Road Divider To Prevent Drivers Doing An Illegal U-turn But Since The Road Divider Was Nothing Very Low Drivers Are Still Able To Do Illegal U-turn.. So To Curb This Relevant Authorities Built A New Higher Road Divider.. No Complain Whatsoever Since This For The Safety Of Other Road Users Fair Play On That.
The Question Here Is That What About Other Places That Has Blind Spot? Since We Had New Roundabouts Along Jalan Singa Menteri Accident Kinda Happens Quite A Lot.. Why? Blind Spot Especially For Car Coming Out From Pandan Housing.. A Simple & Cheap Solution Convex Mirror.. Would Be Very Much Appreciated.. Also Uneven Roads On The Very Said Roundabouts Area.. So It Is Rather Frustrating That They Keep On Overlooking That Problem..
Plus As A Belait Born I Find It That How True It Was To Call Kb A Ghost Or Sleepy Town.. With The Amount Of Expat Coming To This Town We Should Capitalize On That.. These Guys Need Entertainment.. Lets Build Family Orientated Entertainment Area.. And All Those Parks Need Major Renovation Not Just Quality Safe Playing Area But Also Parking Spots.. Then Maybe A Little Gerai Area So Local Can Have Some Income Too..
A Few Nights Ago A Friend Asked Me Is There Any Shop Still Open At 12 Am..? I Said No.. And Her Reply Was "Kesian Jua Belait Ani".. With A Heavy Handed Heart I Have To Agree With Her.. We Used To Have Groceries Shop Or Kedai Runcit Still Operational Pass Midnight But Our 'Beloved' Municipal Board Was So Clever That They Made A New Rules That Any Shop In Kb Town That Are Still Operational After Midnight Will Be Fine And Their License Will Be Revoked.. This First Time I Heard This I Was Shaking My Head In Disbelieve.. Why? What Is The Problem? If A Shop Has The Capability To Run Their Business Til Early Morning Of The Day Let Them.. If The Only Reason To Prevent Our Youth From Loitering Then They Should Asked Some Help From Our Police Forces Asking Them To Leave And Doing A Round On Every Hour Until Morning.. I Do Believe Our Police Force Are That Capable To Do Such Task.. Then What Else? They Do Not Have The Permit To Operate Until Late Hour Then Make One Available So That They Can Apply Still This Is A Groceries Shop For Crying Out Loud.. I Do Not See Any Problem Whatsoever..
And My Dad Had One Theory That Was The People Whom Making Those Decision Weren't Thinking About The Welfare Of Kb-ians.. In Fact There Not From This Town Hence They Will Never Know What This Town Really Needs.. Look We Don't Need Fancy Stuff But If They Listen We Just Want Something That Is Practical And Something That Make This Town Look Lively.. If We're Talking About Dollars And Cents Here Yes It Is Understandable But Come On Oil And Gas Company Who Are Milking Profits From Our Oil I'm Sure They'll Be More Than Willing To Help..
Tho For That Until Those Guys Took Their Head Out Of Their Asses Then This Town Will Still Looks Ghostly And Sleepy..
