Raihan & Hujan - Salam Aidilfitri Ayahanda Dan Bonda

For this year lain sikit lagu raya yg hit home. I've been listening to new versions of Raya songs but somehow nothing hit me hard. Well, when I'm saying hitting me hard, it really is a general term that can mean anything.

Either, the song hit me in a trendy or catchy way. Something that I really enjoyed at first hearing or whatnot. However, this particular song took some time to rub on me. As you know during the final week of Ramadhan. I have been ardently listening to Malaysian's radio stations since these stations will play Raya songs quite early.

And by doing so, Raya bugs will slowly rub on ya. Don't get me started with Bruneian radio stations. No idea why they're taking their sweet time. Seriously guys, don't you remember the time when we were just kids. When radio DJs start to play Raya 9-8 days before Raya? And we all got excited and rushed toward the radio to turn up the volume. Well? What the bloody hell were you guys thinking taking your sweet time, eh???

Okay, enough ranting, like I mentioned earlier. This song took its sweet time to hit me but when I listened carefully to the lyrics. Wow! So Enjoy! Ngalih ku bercerita panjang hahaha.

Finally! An Update

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ

So how was your Raya celebration this year guys? I hope everyone is safe, sound, and healthy. It's quite a roller coaster of Ramadhan and Raya experience for me. 

Covid-19 really did a mark this year on lots of people, me included. The anticipation of celebrating Raya this year was a bit muffled when almost everyone apart from myself here at home got hit by covid-19, three days before Raya eve!

As a Muslim, there is nothing much you can do but redha or be at peace with what's happening. We must believe in Qada and Qadar, which I see as a reminder from Allah to find the beauty of Syawal in the simplest manner.

Fast forward its day 9 now since the news broke that a few members of my in-law's family got covid-19. While most of them are now recovering and free of it. My wife decided to take an extra day precaution. So I will only be able to have a proper Raya with her tomorrow (Saturday, 07/05/2022).

Moving forward, I am still not fully sure if I will be able to blog again full time. However, for all time's sake, a few updates week in and week out should suffice for now. Mind you, writing helps my mind ease a little bit and also helps to improve my writing grammar!

Long Hiatus

My Favourite Raya Song For This Year

This year I have a few lagu raya yang ku suka. Actually, aku nda berapa familiar with this song. Tapi kalau kamu read through my blog post. Aku suka dangar radio Malaysia then this song malar kana main then it grew on me! 

Although this video is not by the original singer which was M. Nasir but it is still a beautiful rendition. Do enjoy the song guys.

Alhamdulillah, masih lagi Allah pinjamkan umur, kesihatan dan rezeki yang cukup. Masih lagi dapat merasa kasih sayang dari Ibu Bapa dan Isteri serta keluarga. Today kami nda balik Kb pasalnya balah my wife berziarah ke kubur.

Alhamdulillah seperti tahun tahun yang sudah masih ramai ahli keluarga balah my wife yang turut serta ziarah. Walaupun tahun lapas masih lagi dalam waktu pandemik covid-19. Masih jua berkesempatan ziarah. May it long continue. Amin Ya Rabb.

We had our sungkai at Nadj Restaurant with my Parents In Law. Siap menghantar durang my wife berpadah. Let's go out for a drive or coffee. Honestly, kami dua nda tau kan ke mana sekali nyangku lets surprise c Icy and c Wan. Hence, langkah kanan lah kami kana hidangkan coffee and matcha tapak kuda roll. Thanks guys semoga bisnes will keep on growing and rezeki kamu sentiasa bertambah berkat jua.

And jua kenapa kami nda balik KB this week ialah kerana.....

My family decided to held acara tahlil, doa tahlil dan seterusnya bersungkai di umah my late grannies. 

And then diteruskan dengan sembahyang Maghrib, Isyak, Tarawikh dan Witir berjemaah. Ampus jua bui ahahaha but alhamdulillah dapat jua dibuat dengan famili.

Post lalah heheheh like I said earlier alhamdulillah terbuat jua mengimamkan my family members. Mun dulu every Thursday andang sudah ni nganya nowadays nda plang ku tau kenapa berkurangan. I think start2 covid 19 atu kurang tia apa.

Monday 03/05/2021 & Tuesday 04/05/2021

Since nda banyak kan di share so aku buat dua hari taus lah aa.

Alum lagi cuti sekulah yth mcm nda lapang jeraya. Plus we're entering the last 10 days of Ramadhan and everyone starting to bangun akhir and turn up for work pun akhir.

Alhamdulillah ngam di opis ada acara keagamaan organized by one of our tenants. Sekali taus durg jemput amil untuk mengutip zakat fitrah. So alang2 tah nda g payah banyak fikir taus tah ku sama a few colleagues turun ke bawah and membayar zakat.

Alhamdulillah walaupun berat but masih jua dapat memaksa diri bangun untuk berqiamulail untuk Ramadhan tahun ani. Nda jua berat sangat rasanya bila diri bangun mandi and buat solat sunat tahajud atu. Makin khusyuk and makin nyaman rasa badan olehnya. Nda ku berdusta guys banar.

But the next morning I had to drive all the way to KB because I had a site meeting with one of our tenants. More work guys and another KPI I reckon?

Stayed in the office until 12:30 ish because I need to commute back and arrive in Bandar just before 2 pm to pick up my wife from work. Didn't fancy coming back to the office especially with me not having enough sleep.

Picked up my wife from work then taus round mencari ayam golek. We tried this place once and we all like it hence we're coming back to buy some more for sungkai. Taus lah ku buat promo video. Ikhlas guys just to help a fellow local with the hope that he and his family can earn a few more dollars for hari raya. Cari pahala free bro.

Wednesday!

As the caption stated andang tahun2 kami ani suka pool some money then bali celebration gift. For example, the Muslim colleague will pool money to buy gifts for our non-muslim colleague during the Chinese New Year festive and vice versa. And you know raya is close by when you have colleagues handing out this give basket hehehehe.

It rains heavily that evening but it's alright it didn't dampen my spirit at all. Eski bah kan sungkai sama geng kfm. Tahun ani ramai yang dapat join yatah ku eski. Tahun tahun yang sudah udah nda ramai kan.

See I told you kan ramai yang belaku join. Although, ani alum lagi di consider full attendance but alhamdulillah dapat berkumpul ramai ramai and making memories.

Selasai dari sungkai beramai taus tah ku mengambil my wife and bawa ya berjalan membali sedikit sebanyak persiapan sebelum syawal menjelma hehehehe. Siuk guys shopping di hujung2 Ramadhan ani ada rasa udah mood raya atu.

Thursday!

Alhamdulillah bangun untuk mengerjakan qiamulail di malam 23 Ramadhan. Tonight ada mencabar sikit pasal I emphasized more on sembahyang sunat hence why baguna aing hehehehe. Nonetheless, terima kasih ya Allah.

Dijadikan cerita dari kemarin udah HR and Admin team minta tolong kediaku and my boss untuk mencarikan volunteers untuk mendgni durg for Charity Drive. 

Kali pagi atu masa aku di admin room mengambil kunci. Bertanya lagi durang and then bila ku masuk to our office my manager jua bertanya if I could ask around. It was kinda a last-minute and I would love to join but I had a few site inspections in Tutong and SPARK. Syukur alhamdulillah jua a few of my colleagues willing to join as a volunteer while the rest of us helped out loading the gifts into the bus. Every little thing helps guys.

On to our first site meeting with JKR. Mencabar banar ni guys melawat tampat ani time puasa lagi. Cukup lagi dengan bau buruknya eh. Kan tumbang ku rasanya nganya syg jua kan dicuaikan puasa since masih lagi mampu ditahan.

Second site meeting. We need to close down on one of the projects we had. So before closing and signing it off. We needed to be sure that everything was in order and good to go.

Third site inspection and I am almost spent. Ani kira our next project. And honestly, our manager has reminded us to get this one sorted out as soon as possible!

Singgah sekajap di SPARK office and my team lead meng interview a few colleagues untuk performance appraisal durang. While myself, I just couldn't function anymore. I connected the laptop to the Tv and just watch a random movie. I'm SPENT!

Back to bandar and meliat aing ujan atu pun aku tais liur bah. Mencabar banar ari ani eh. Tambah lagi nda cukup tidur apa aishhhhh berkat kerja ku ari ani hahahahaha.

Aku sungkai sorg today pasal my wife panggilan dengan my MIL. Malas ku makan diluar, badan ani masih terasa ngalih and malas kan melayan kerenah everyone hehehehe.
